Healthy Brunch At Pancake House
Pancake House may be one of those expensive places to dine in but never mind, it is simply worth the price once you get to taste their food plus the fact that their staff are well trained enough to satisfy you with a good customer service. What are some of my all time favorites in Pancake House? I love pancakes but I seldom order pancakes from Pancake House. It's not that they taste awful but their servings are too much for my small stomach. I like their Almondigas Soup as starter paired with Caesar's Salad. And try a glass of their
luscious Apple Tea ohhhsooo refreshing for an early lunch and late breakfast (BRUNCH as what most diners call it). And to complete my healthy brunch at Pancake House I ordered Ham and Cheese Omellete with toasted bread and butter on the side. What more could I ask for? I'd surely try preparing this healthy recipes at home and definitely share the cooking experience here in my Taste-O-licious blog. Allow me to help you maintain a healthy living with my new discoveries of healthy recipes.

First Time At Chika-an
Chika-an Restaurant is located at Abreeza Mall, Davao City. They have this tarpaulin near the restaurant's entrance showing some of their available menu plus a caption of their prices too. It was not very hard for me nor my husband to decide whether we should go in and try their food because basing from their food prices, they are very affordable compared to the previous restaurants we've been through.
If you are looking for uniqueness, there is nothing really unique that will attract your eyes and your appetite. Chika-an Restaurant serves mostly Filipino dishes like Kare-kare, Tortang Relyenong Talong, Monggo, Green Mango Salad and more. As first time customers in this restaurant, I kept my eyes rolling to observe how customers are enjoying their meals, I tried feeling the ambiance around and of course my hungry stomach should feel how Chika-an can satisfy my hunger. And this is what I can say as a somewhat review for this restaurant:
Ambiance is not so excellent but not so bad either. They have this pipe in music usually the latest hits in music industry like Lady Gaga's Bad Romance is playing. Customer service is not very excellent ( perhaps because the Abreeza Mall just opened few months ago and the staff are all new) but I cannot say that customer service is too bad either. Food was served hot but the Kare-Kare we ordered just came in a little late ( we have to call a waiter to tell her we are following up our Kare-kare dish). Rice is unlimited and their Buko Juice is freshly served with the original husk.

All About Taste-O-Licious
Taste-O-Licious will awaken your hungry taste buds, will enlighten your dull moments (through my food servings) and will bring you to places and food outlets that will definitely spark your curiosity and eventually to try them out yourself.
Taste-O-Licious is not intended for bulimics and anorexics. This blog is for food lovers who always maintain a healthy lifestyle. Keep visiting this blog if you love your life, if you intend to keep a healthy life and if you want to learn cooking from scratch. Just like me, I never knew I can cook until I tried it myself. Now aside from article writing, web research and online marketing, there is an addition to my daily activities that I enjoy doing and that is cooking...especially when I do it for my husband. What could be more satisfying than to serve your husband with a good meal that he will enjoy every day? And at the end of the day will tell you how tasty and delicious your dishes are.
And to improve my craft in cooking I even enrolled in a short course. I hope I could attend Chef Gene Gonzales’ prestigious culinary school, The Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS). I am currently attending a short course in cooking at St. Joseph Technical Academy.
Some of the few recipes that I started making are salads, pancakes and just a few viands. I am in the stage of trying to make a good tasting pizza because this tops my long list of food favorites. Next to pizza is a carbonara which I would never trade in for a bunch of spaghetti. I would love to learn how to make those stylish cakes, muffins and cookies though I should always keep myself posted that I need to slow down on sweets. Whenever we get the chance, me and my husband would go to restaurants and try out few dishes, take a snap photo on whatever we decided to order and when we get home we research how to prepare and try to cook those dishes together.
Taste-O-Licious blog will try to let you experience the world of cooking, give you a taste of how we enjoy eating as husband and wife and we will share you exciting recipes that you can actually cook for your family and friends.
Taste-O-Licious will provide you with some information that can make your life healthy, physically, mentally and emotionally (few lesson on life’s sanity, why not). But in general, Taste-O-Licious is all about food, food, food and food plus healthy living.
Come join me and my husband as we explore the many places where we can find delicious and hearty meals around the globe. Enjoy our photos as we dip our tongues with the different cuisines from places starting out in our very own Davao city. Keep following us on our unending discovery of food and healthy living and allow us to share with you our happy moments coupled with food. Happy Eating!
